Located on the Peak Downs Highway, approximately four kilometres East of the Moranbah Access Road turnoff is our Coolibah Quarry. Our main operations at Quarrico Products are based on our Grosvenor and Coolibah sites, as well as an administration centre at Balberra just south of Mackay.
Our quarries are fully equipped with all the machinery and tools necessary to produce a wide range of high-quality
gravel and rock products. We have
crushing, screening, loading and excavating equipment, which are regularly maintained and serviced. We also have two Pugmills which allows us to mix / moisture condition various types of roadbase and cement treated roadbase products. This allows us to optimise the moisture content of various products (ie: + / - 1 % of O.M.C.).
Our Products & Services
Coolibah Quarry is equipped with a fully certified modern public weighbridge that is regularly calibrated in compliance with the National Measurement 1960 (Cth), to ensure accuracy and precision at all times.
All facilities at the Coolibah Quarry are diesel-electric powered, and our principal operations are the production and haulage of quarry materials. Located on the Peak Downs Highway, other products and services at our Coolibah site include:
- Basalt flow reserve 26mt
- Crushing & screening
- Concrete mixes & concrete batch plant capable of 99m3/hr
- Boilermaker & fabrication workshop
- Servicing depot

- Laboratory inclusive of Geotech sampling & testing utilities which has been utilised by NATA agency
